Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has resigned from the top post on July 26, 2021, after months of speculation.
The Lingayat leader had published on July 25, 2021, that he will make the determination on his future as the Chief Minister of Karnataka on July 26 when his government will perform two years in the state.
BS Yediyurappa’s resignation came during the speculation about the leadership turnover in the state after objections from BJP MLA’s. Bharatiya Janata Party is currently the ruling party in the state.
