New Update: Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service Examination 2024 Status
Shimla, March 24, 2025 – The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has issued a new update regarding the status of the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Service (Main) Examination – 2024.
Following the previous announcement on March 20, 2025, regarding the postponement of the examination due to pending Writ Petition(s) Civil No(s). 1022/1989, titled All India Judges Association & Ors. Vs. Union of India & Ors., in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the HPPSC has clarified that it is actively monitoring the situation. The Commission remains in close coordination with the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh and other relevant authorities to determine the next course of action.
As of now, the recruitment process for the posts of Civil Judge remains on hold, and the rescheduled dates for the examination will be announced only after receiving further directions from the Hon’ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh.
