Tokyo: PV Sindhu succeeded her quarter-final on Friday and will be in performance in the semi-final of badminton women’s singles against Tai Tzu-Ying of Chinese Taipei.
On July 31 (Saturday), the afternoon session will start from 2.30 PM IST onwards. The match between Chen Yufei vs He Bing Jiao will be followed by the PV Sindhu vs Tai-Tzu Ying fixture.
Apart from Sindhu, India’s women’s hockey team will also be in performance tomorrow. India will face South Africa in their last pool game. Although the knockout requirement looks like a far dream after three failures in a row, there is an extreme chance to pass if Ireland fails their pool game. India’s pool game against South Africa has been stated at 8:45 am.
