SAMRIDH Scheme: The Ministry of Electronics and Information and Technology (MeitY) on August 25, 2021, originated the Start-up Accelerators MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth (SAMRIDH). The scheme intends to support the start-up ecosystem in India and support in building a helpful program for Indian Software Product start-ups to ensure investments for comparing their products and business. The MeitY Start-up Hub (MSH) is performing the SAMRIDH scheme.

PM Narendra Modi in his Confidence Speech on August 15, 2021, had stated that start-ups are the new examples of wealth producers in our country. The Indian government is relentlessly striving towards creating Indian start-ups and the start-up ecosystem the most reliable in the world. The Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in an event had announced that the Indian government will encourage the start-ups and entrepreneurs in the original risk phase.

What is the SAMRIDH scheme?
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on August 25, 2021, started the Start-up Accelerators MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth (SAMRIDH) scheme. Completed by the MeitY Start-up Hub (MSH), the project strives at building a conducive platform for Indian Software Product start-ups to ensure investments for scaling their products and business.

How will SAMRIDH scheme select start-ups?
The scheme will choose start-ups in India that are all set for the speedup stage. The Government will award financial support, mentorship, and other necessary assistance to the chosen start-ups at this stage.
