NITI Aayog and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) have strongly developed the two-month-long, independent and digital skills entrepreneurship which is designated ATL Tinkerprenuer summer Bootcamp and was carried across India.
Who were the participants?
Planned for high school students across the country, the curriculum has seen a breakthrough of over 9,000 members (including over 4,000 women) in 32 states and 298 districts of the country. Bootcamp witnessed the participation of 820 ATLs, over 50 live practised speaker sessions attended with over 4.5 lakh views and presented over 30 digital and business skills.
Why was it named Tinkerprenuer?
The title originates from the expression “allowing students to tinker in the comfort of their homes and become entrepreneurs this summer” which is a drive centred on generating an innovative and creative mindset between the participating students.
Duration of the programme
9 weeks from May 31, 2021, to August 1, 2021, this schedule allowed attendees to acquire a business idea and build an end-to-end strategy to discover a new business.
What did the participants learn?
During the exercise, the participants received the basic digital skills, create and develop a business design around a digital product, make a marketing plan, develop/establish a store online, study about corporate finance and accumulation by offering their dedication to industry specialists. Students and their ATL guides were planned in small groups with teachers. All enrolled users must obtain a wealth of digital and business training resources, do-it-yourself content, simple homework tasks and more to empower participants to build their own digital commodities and projects.
Objective of ATL Tinkerprenuer
The whole training program was created to allow innovative study as well as to help learners move from an approach to a business in a short time, disappointing and attempting again and gain the knowledge of both building solutions and businesses throughout it.
