Sumit Kumar
Sumit Kumar currently in his final year at Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University,
He has built a solid foundation in law, both academically and practically, he has consistently excelled with a CGPA of 8.46/10. Throughout his academic journey, he has complemented his studies with internships at distinguished legal institutions and the chambers of various senior advocates. These internships have provided him with hands-on experience in legal research, document drafting, case preparation, and client handling across diverse areas of law including arbitration, contract law, and civil procedure.
Sumit has also actively engaged in moot court competitions, having participated in events like the VI International Victor’s Moot Court Competition organized by Sri Lanka Law College. His commitment to legal scholarship is evident from his contributions to legal publications, where he has written extensively on subjects ranging from human trafficking and drug cartels to the evolution of the legal profession in India.
In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, Sumit has taken on leadership roles, serving as an editor and author at Legal Onus and as an associate in the Pro Bono Club at his university. His involvement in these activities showcases his dedication to advancing his legal knowledge and his commitment to contributing to the legal community. Sumit’s achievements also include securing top ranks in national competitions and earning certifications in areas like the Right to Information, further solidifying his credentials as an aspiring legal professional.
